When any registration/donor/appointment/chat form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card numbers), that information is SSL encrypted. While we use SSL encryption is used to protect sensitive information online, and we aggressively protect user information offline. Only ministry employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative are granted access to personally identifiable information. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment. If there is a data breach, we commit to compliance with applicable law.
